Poetry is far more important to Iranians than most can imagine here in the U.S. It is a means of expression that covers everything from the most compelling political issues to the simplicity of everyday life.

David Wakstein is a notable artist, curator, community activist… and a total kid at heart. In speaking of his close friends Sasha Serber and Gal Weinstein, both artists participating in Spring, 2012, who are nearly 20 years his junior, he says: “I am the child amongst them.”
